GQA Achieves Investors in People Standard

GQA has recently achieved the Investors in People standard.

The decision was taken to undertake the IIP assessment as it was felt that it would further demonstrate the company's commitment to its staff, associates and the wider scope of achieving a world class workforce in the Glass and related industries.

In addition to the full time staff of GQA, the IIP Assessor, John Taylor, interviewed members of the External Verifier team and the Board of Directors to ensure that GQA operations were understood by all and showed a commitment to the ongoing success of the organisation through its people.

Mr. Taylor pointed to a number of best practice activities in his report to the Yorkshire and Humberside Recognition Panel and GQA is delighted to be recognised as an Investor in People.
