John Fredericks Launches New Foiled Woodgrains

John Fredericks has unveiled an addition to its Ultimate Collection of doors and windows with the launch of its new range of foiled woodgrain finishes.

The Oakdale range combines the advantages of PVC with a timber finish and has been developed in response to in depth research and feedback from the marketplace. The foiled woodgrain finishes come in white, cream and black and are available on John Fredericks' Rustique 2 fully sculptured profile.

The new woodgrain finishes are foiled onto a white backing profile and are feature grooved like other Fredericks' products. They are available on Fredericks' casement windows and residential doors, which will be manufactured internally beaded as standard, using the reverse butt weld process. Like all Fredericks' frames, they are available both factory glazed and unglazed to suit individual requirements.

John Fredericks says that its high performance Rustique 2 system has brought many advantages to installers who demand products that offer superb performance yet make installation as quick and easy as possible. Maintaining its distinctive profile shape to provide a consistent product appearance throughout the entire range, Rustique 2 is simple to glaze and fit thanks to a single leg glazing bead. It also benefits from a five chamber profile design to provide exceptional strength and durability as well as enhanced thermal and noise insulation. Its increased thermal performance reduces 'cold bridging' and pre-empts changes to the Building Regulations which require greater thermal efficiency.
