Roof-Maker Buys Concept

Roof-Maker Ltd the manufacturer of Reflex branded conservatory roof units has bought the full share capital and assets of Concept 3 Ltd, the specialist glass supplier based in Manchester.

The deal will allow Roof-Maker to acquire the full Concept sales and customer base and all thermal control roof glass units will now be manufactured and supplied from Roof-Maker's own factory in Leicester.

Scott Nicholas, Managing Director of Roof-Maker comments, ‘This is an exciting time for the company as we absorb Concept 3 and grow the business further with increasing roof glass sales, we can now offer increased levels of service to existing Reflex customers.

‘Concept 3 has been a loyal and successful Reflex distributor and has managed to grow sales over the years to such a level that we as a manufacturer found it very attractive to acquire.

‘It makes sense for the specialist glass units to be manufactured, managed and distributed direct from our Leicester manufacturing facility to anywhere in the UK.

‘The move is good news for both customers and employees of Roof-Maker and Concept 3 as it secures jobs and allows for greater flexibility and control supplying the growing market for this type of specialist glass.’
