Processing & Technology 2008 Update
Some of the world's leading glass processing businesses
will be bringing the latest technology to GP&T 2008. The UK and Ireland
division of Lisec Group, the world's leading manufacturer of high-tech
machinery for the flat glass industry has confirmed on stand D30, a 230
square metre site at the heart of GP&T. As a single source supplier,
Lisec has a reputation for providing complete project management, comprising
machines and plants for glass cutting, insulating glass production, spacer
bending/application, laminating glass production, tempering furnaces and
software solutions.
Situated at the entrance to GP&T on stand B10, the Glaston Group is
a leading supplier of high-quality glass processing machinery and software,
with probably the widest range of products and services for the architectural,
appliance & furniture or the automotive glass industries. Represented
on the stand will be all the products Glaston manufactures and markets
including Tamglass safety glass machines, Bavelloni pre-processing machines
and tools, Albat+Wirsam software as well as information on their extensive
after sales services.
The Bohle Group, on stands D10 & E10, is Europe's leading manufacturer
and wholesaler of tools, machinery and accessories for glass processing,
glass finishing and picture framing. Divided into the product divisions
Handling, Glass Cutting, Glass Bonding, Glazing, Tools, Machinery, Fittings
and Surface Protection, the total product range is precisely tailored
to the respective customer groups from trade, industry and retail. As
well as exhibiting a range of new products and attracting the crowds with
the usual informative demonstrations, Bohle is sponsoring the GP&T
Glass Gallery, a feature area designed to show the creativity and versatility
of glass in all its guises.
Positioned opposite the link between GP&T and Glassex will be Promac
Glass Machinery. At nearly 300 square metres, stand F10 is the largest
in GP&T and will showcase the latest developments to the For.El range
of glass processing equipment including a fully automated Edgetech Triseal
Super Spacer(r) line and the latest automatic arrissing line for shaped
glass.
Commenting on the exhibition, GP&T Sales Director Dave Broxton said,
"There will be something for everyone at GP&T in a hall dedicated
solely to the glass industry. In order to accommodate the extensive range
of machinery some manufacturers are exhibiting we have even had to extend
the build-up period for GP&T so I am sure that visitors will appreciate
the range of new technology on show. These global companies have invested
many thousands of pounds to bring their products to the UK market and
despite a small minority of non-exhibitors trying to knock the event,
GP&T will be a great show, especially as it is next door to a revitalized
Glassex".
Glass Processing & Technology in hall 3A at the NEC Birmingham shares
the same opening times as Glassex in hall 4 - Early opening on Tuesday
8th April 9am-5pm, Late closing on Wednesday 9th April 10am-7pm and Thursday
10th April 10am-5pm. For more information on exhibiting or visiting GP&T
