New Machine from Haffner GB Ltd Offers Unrivalled Functionality

Haffner GB Ltd says that its new Vantage machine range looks set to take the market by storm. The company has a good track record in this field - its SBA Cutting and Machining Centre is the machine of choice for many fabricators. As a result, the SM-04-120 Four Head Welder in the Vantage range is already attracting plenty of interest.

The SM-04-120 Four Head Welder offers valuable benefits to fabricators looking to improve production processes in the search for increased profitability. What's more it has unique functions that will appeal to fabricators who refuse to compromise on quality.

The SM-04-120 offers the well-designed features that Haffner customers have come to expect as well as improving efficiency, quality and production times. For example, an H welding (or turret) facility means complicated frames can be welded quickly and accurately. The profile is automatically placed against the back fence and setting plate, ensuring the frame is aligned correctly and eliminating the need to factor in frame tolerances. The heads move to the correct frame position automatically, eliminating operator error. And all the knives are made of steel to ensure accurate welds.

But perhaps the most exciting feature on the machine is the positioning of the groove and knife. This feature - unique to the SM-04-120 - means white and coloured profiles can be welded at the turn of a switch. As this is something that many fabricators struggle to do to a consistently high quality, it offers a welcome innovation.

Haffner GB's managing director, Dave Thomas, is looking forward to showcasing the SM-04-120 at this year's Glassex: ‘It's rare that something truly revolutionary comes onto the market, but I think the SM-04-120 will offer fabricators something they've never seen before. I'm confident it will be a big success and am looking forward to demonstrating it at Glassex.’
