Asset's Modern Twist on Student's Outlook

Sleek, modern and stylish windows from Sheerframe fabricator and installer Asset Manufacturing Ltd have played a crucial role in delivering a state of the art student accommodation complex on Birmingham's Bristol Road.

In conjunction with Ocon Construction, Asset Manufacturing Ltd has fabricated and installed almost 800 high performance Sheerframe tilt-only windows in two stylish grey tones - light grey and anthracite - to complement the modern design of the 604-bedroom student complex.

Ocon Construction, says, ‘The student accommodation is a modern development in design, construction and aesthetic appeal. With a 18-storey glass and zinc tower as the focal point of the building, the two-tone grey windows blend perfectly with the overall aesthetics, adding to the contemporary, urban building design.’

Bristol Road is one of the first developments in the UK to use the revolutionary new Corefast system, which offers rapid on-site assembly of lightweight modules using Bi-Steel panels to form the core framework. Using the technically advanced architectural PVC window system from Sheerframe, the windows were directly installed into the structure utilising galvanised steel fixing lugs.
