Plastmo fabricator, Unique Window Systems, used Interbuild 2007 to announce the achievement of Secured By Design (SBD) on its Charisma vertical slider, making the company one of only a small handful of fabricators across the industry to gain this important approval.

The Leicester-based company has worked hard to develop a wide product portfolio for both the trade market and commercial specifier and profile partner Plastmo has been a fundamental part of this process according to director Sunil Patel. He comments: ‘We have a fantastic range of products and can offer more in the way of certification and that's an independent guarantee of quality, performance and our proven infrastructure. Plastmo has played a big part in this, particularly with the company’s Charisma vertical slider.’

Unique used Interbuild not only to announce SBD on its vertical slider, the first Plastmo fabricator to do so, but also to promote a range of products and support services aimed at the commercial specifier. The company is a proven performer in the public sector and has also developed a range of coloured pvc-u windows to satisfy the demand for more design-led and contemporary project solutions as several recent case studies ably demonstrate.
