TuffX Products Chosen for Pioneering Manchester Development

TuffX Processed Glass Ltd was recently contracted to supply products to one of Manchester's leading developers for the city's pioneering greenquarter development. In a project that was part of a £190 million development TuffX supplied 10 mm toughened glass for the major new urban community venture.

The expertise and reliability of the TuffX team was a major contributing factor for the company being chosen as a supplier to developer Crosby Lend Lease who are recognized for design-led urban style and high-specification interiors. The new development comprises loft apartments and penthouse suites in Manchester's vibrant new inner city community.

With building projects becoming increasingly more dynamic, builders and construction companies in turn, are requiring more in terms of aesthetics and performance. For Crosby Lend Lease it was imperative that not only the highest specification products were supplied but also that they were delivered outside usual working hours.

The Manchester Greenquarter Project has opened a new chapter in city living as the development company has seen sales augment considerably with four of the seven phases now completely sold out.
