Glyngary Installs REHAU Heritage Vertical Sliders in Luxury Property

Glyngary Joinery, a specialist manufacturer of PVC-U sash windows in the REHAU Heritage system, has fabricated more than 50 windows for installation in a luxury refurbishment project in Surrey.

The large house in Ashtead has been extended and refurbished by its current owners with all glass, windows, doors and lantern roof installed by specialist DB Designs Southern Ltd.

DB Designs chose vertical sliders in the REHAU Heritage system because they matched the styling of the 1930s originals but could offer the right combination of low maintenance, energy efficiency and contemporary finish which the current market demands.

Cheshire-based Glyngary won the contract because the company showed its trademark willingness to go the extra mile for customers with the installation of thermally efficient, grey tinted glass in many of the windows fitted in the rear of the house.

The windows are fabricated in the REHAU Heritage PVC-U system with authentic styling features such as sash horns, a deep bottom rail, a slim interlock and a chamfered exterior.
