Launches Rhino Fire Door
Hurst
Plastics has announced the first in a long line of developments
for its Rhino composite door. The solid panel version of the market leading
Rhino door is now available as a high performance fire door.
With exactly the same qualities as the original Rhino, the Hurst Rhino
fire door offers a 30 minute fire rating and conforms to BS476: Part 22:
1987.
The robust door, which is hung in a specially adapted Eurocell PVC-U frame,
is outwardly indistinguishable from the standard Rhino door range. It
benefits from a hardwood sub frame, which encases a phenolic foam core
to provide its fire protection.
Available in Rhino 6 or Rhino 4 panel options, the door comes with pre-drilled
fixing holes and an approved "Union" door closer, which is supplied
loose as standard. Fire retardant letterplates and door viewers are also
available to accompany the range.
The range will be enhanced with a selection of attractive glazed fire
doors in the near future.
Combining good looks with high security, the Hurst Rhino also comes with
a comprehensive 10 year warranty and is guaranteed not to warp, twist
or flake. It has recently surpassed the requirements of Annex D and has
undergone extreme thermal performance testing to ensure that it is capable
of withstanding the adverse effects of extreme weather conditions.
