Up for Crystal's Very Big Showhouse
Crystal
Direct has been inviting installers to visit its factory for
a guided tour - a move that is proving extremely popular among prospects
and existing customers.
The latest installer to take up the invitation was Steve Allard, Managing
Director of AA Plastics Ltd in Norfolk. As well as a chance to look around
Crystal's facilities, meet staff and see first hand the care and attention
with which frames and sealed units are assembled at Crystal, the day also
includes a delicious free lunch and the chance for Crystal and its customers
to get to know each other better. The factory is probably unique among
large national trade fabricators in making both internally glazed all
welded frames and externally glazed mechanically jointed windows.

Brian
Geraghty, Operations Director (Top Centre) meeting with customers on a
guided tour
I really enjoyed my visit to Crystal. We switched to the company
as a direct result of the tour, Steve Allard explained. The
staff were hospitable and took time to answer any questions. The tour
was professionally carried out and was interesting and informative. And
who doesn't enjoy a free lunch?!
Martin Randall, Crystal's Chairman, believes the initiative is a valuable
exercise from Crystal's perspective too. The tour and free lunch
give potential and existing customers the opportunity to find out more
about us, see how we do it and put names to faces. Customers really are
at the heart of our business and it's important to us that they understand
how we operate and experience directly our quality control and standards
- after all, seeing is believing!
Faced with difficult market conditions, Crystal believes its innovative
and personalised approach is paying dividends. The company is experiencing
a sustained period of growth. And thanks to its free marketing support
packages, so are many of its customers.
