Glassex-GP&T Backs Industry Awards

Hot on the heels of its own successful Glassex-Glass Processing & Technology 2008 exhibition, organiser Emap Construct has declared its renewed sponsorship of the G08 Awards.

Supporting the announcement, Sales Director, Dave Broxton said, ‘We are delighted to be sponsoring the G Awards once again. We wholeheartedly champion the aims of the competition - to reward excellence and promote best practice within our industry. As event organisers we are more aware than most of the importance of supporting the industry we serve, which is why we feel putting something back is so important.’

Emap has sponsored every G Awards since its inception.

With more than a dozen specific categories and an independent panel of experts to judge the entries, the G Awards are recognised as the 'Oscars' of the glass and glazing business.

Commenting on the sponsorship renewal, G08 Awards Organiser, Tony Higgin said, ‘I am delighted that Glassex-GP&T are backing the Awards once again. We both serve as showcases for the best the industry has to offer and on the back of a really encouraging show this year, I feel we can both deliver some much needed, positive messages into the market.’

The G08 Awards will take place on Friday 3rd October at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
