New Look to Cavities

The cavity tray market is undergoing change- with a new presence in the field.

Z-Led, part of the Building Product Design Group, is aiming to be a dynamic presence in the market, offering what is claimed to be the most comprehensive range of virtually indestructible cavity trays and gas and damp barriers. Heralding its evolving strategy, the company has a raft of innovations.

A new corporate identity has been created, to demonstrate the company's contemporary approach to business, developing solutions to changing market requirements, and bespoke options for specific issues.

Further, a new sales team is in place, headed by Kelly Phipps. Kelly takes up his new post from being business development manager at Glidevale, one of the UK's leading suppliers of roofing ventilation products, and part of the Building Product Design Group. He is supported by Natalie Morrey, product manager responsible for marketing Z-Led, Matthew McAndry as technical manager and Stacey Cantrill as sales office manager.

Kelly comments, ‘The pressure to build 'sealed envelopes', coupled with the ever-present constraints of construction time and cost, are increasingly issues for the building industry. Z-Led is rising to the challenge.’

Z-Led polypropylene cavity trays are claimed to be virtually indestructible; preformed and pre-creased, they save time on site and ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, British standards and NHBC requirements. The company also offers a range of gas and damp barrier membranes, plus cavity closures, acoustic fire barriers and Capawal high performance coping system designed to provide an attractive, weather-resistant finish to parapet walls. Its products have been used on sites by Redrow, Bloor and Bellwinch, among others.Full details are available on the website http://www.z-led.com.
