Kömmerling Chooses Alexander Windows to Supply New 'Platinum' Range

Building on a period of concerted success, Stockport Window manufacturer, Alexander Windows (Alexander), has launched a new variation on its range of high quality windows and doors.

Extending its long-standing relationship with market-leading German company, Kömmerling, Alexander has also been selected as one of only three companies nationwide to offer the stylish new line.

As managing director, Steve Wood, explains, the fresh offering represents something of a coup for the 17 year-old company. 'Kömmerling is a highly respected top quality brand and in launching this exciting new range, we are delighted to have been chosen as a preferred manufacturer and supplier,' he says.

'As with Alexander Windows, Kömmerling has always been synonymous with quality and in both performance and design terms, this range is right up there.

'Instead of the usual black or white gaskets that form the weather-proof seals, a new silver equivalent has been developed to give much more attractive sight lines and to ensure that the frames never look tired or grubby.'

Always looking at ways of reducing the company's carbon footprint and Steve is also pleased that the new range will ensure a big reduction in waste. He explains: 'The benefits; both to ourselves and our customers don‚t stop at the aesthetics and effectively, low maintenance has become even lower maintenance.

'When people have previously ordered windows and doors with white gaskets, we have had to strip out the black gaskets from the original stock and replace them with the white equivalent. That has meant that we have been left with a considerable amount of waste but with this new 'Platinum' gasket, we no longer have that issue which can only be a good thing.'

The new range is now available to order and as Steve concludes, once more people become aware of the sleek new options, he expects demand to be high: 'Already, we have had numerous visitors to our showroom commenting on how nice the new range looks,' he says.

'Given the preference for clean lines in silver and chrome in many of today's living spaces, I‚m sure we'll see significant interest in the range once it becomes available. We are delighted that the people at Kömmerling have seen fit to put their faith in us as they look to establish the range across Greater Manchester and indeed the rest of the country.'
