WHS Halo's Panacea Raises Curtain Walling to New Heights

The latest version of Panacea software - the comprehensive fabrication software package exclusively from WHS Halo - has now improved its treatment of curtain walling as well as windows and conservatories. Processing curtain walls is easier than ever before, allowing: easy entry of levels; intelligent processing (permitting the programme to automatically make structural decisions by improving transom strength above doors or removing outerframe from below doors for a lower threshold); and better control of frame groups to make integration of curtain walling and a PVC database easier.

By using these new features, it is now much easier to process a complete project quickly. PVC frames can be added to the application for presentation only, or, if it is desired to combine a 'normal' PVC database with the curtain wall one, it can also provide the manufacturing and pricing information for the combination.

The curtain walling element has also benefited from the improvements in the 3D presentation added to the program, allowing the creation of photo-quality 3D images of a curtain wall, as either a basic structure or to include frames and glazing for improved visualisation of the final product.

Panacea, now in V6.8, is a versatile and sophisticated window and door production package developed to cover every aspect of the fabrication process from the initial design stages through to manufacture, sales, and installation. For fabricators who specialise in conservatories a conservatory design package is also available.
