Trident Sales Rocket in Huddersfield

Champagne corks were flying in Yorkshire this month as SIEGENIA-AUBI celebrated sales of its Trident hardware with distributor, Avocet Hardware.

SIEGENIA-AUBI national sales manager, Alastair Wheeler, visited Avocet's Brighouse headquarters to present the winning sales team with a bottle of bubbly to mark the highest Trident sales since Avocet took on the hardware three months ago.

Together, key account manager Chris Burroughs, telesales manager Lisa Lund and telephone sales adviser Emma Gallagher smashed internal sales targets for the three-in-one Trident hardware and, according to Avocet MD Steve Stewart, the firm met all of its Trident sales targets by the end of 2007.

‘Trident is a fabulous product and fabricators are quick to see the time-saving and performance benefits it delivers,’ he says. ‘It will continue to be a key product for Avocet in 2008.’

Alastair Wheeler adds: ‘Trident is proving incredibly popular. We had orders from Avocet for 30,000 units in the first week the company had the product, and it added four new key customers to its portfolio shortly afterwards on the strength of Trident.’

SIEGENIA-AUBI launched the three-in-one window hardware last year - the firm's first product for the casement market. Designed to overcome the problem of forcing fabricators to choose between egress and security, Trident uses a hook and cam combination previously only used in door locks to deliver high performance window hardware that combines safety, security and egress in a single solution.
