GGF
appoints Robert Aitken as President
The GGF has announced that Robert Aitken is GGF President.
The GGF President is elected every two years and Robert succeeds Rick
Wilberforce.
Robert Aitken said 'I will continue with the GGF's lobbying of Government
in many different areas, and with other decision makers and influencers
to increase the industry's environmental credentials and importance of
energy efficient windows.
'2008 is predicted to be a difficult trading year across all industries
but sustainability and developments driven by Climate Change create major
opportunities for our industry and for GGF Members to develop higher-performing
products that UK and European legislation requires. Mr Rick Wilberforce
said 'I would like to take this opportunity to thank Nigel Rees, Chief
Executive of the GGF, for the significant successes that have been achieved

and identifying solutions for the problems of parking for emergency glaziers.'

and replacement windows. We are delighted to welcome Robert.'
