GAP works in partnership with Barratt Homes

Another major housebuilder has seen the benefits of working with GAP. The UK's leading home improvement stockist is now working in partnership with Britain's best known housebuilder - Barratt Homes.

GAP will be one of the housebuilders nominated suppliers in the Central region. Barratt Homes currently sells over 15,500 new homes a year helping to meet housing demand in towns, cities and rural areas.

Tony Heywood is Barratt Home's Company Buyer for Barratt Manchester and Regional Lead Buyer for the Central Region. He says:

'We've known about GAP for a number of years and wanted to give them the opportunity to work with us. Because they are a stockist they can provide us with the products we need and have good depot coverage in the areas we work. GAP also offers us competitively priced products which we can have delivered next day. This is important for us.'

GAP is already a sole supplier to Barratt Homes for roofline products such as fasicas and soffits at 25 developments in and around Manchester. The order, worth more than £200,000, sees GAP's products used on 1,000 homes.

Tony adds: 'GAP offers Barratt Homes an excellent service and we look forward to an ongoing working relationship with them.'
