Windowstyle Kit for Young Sports Stars

Darfield Junior Football Club is the latest sports club to benefit from the generosity of local Wombwell manufacturer Windowstyle UK, the area's largest single employer, who has supplied a new kit to the club’s under 8's squad worth over £500.

Windowstyle, part of Safestyle UK and manufacturer of thousands of PVCu windows and doors every week for installation at properties throughout the United Kingdom at its state-of-the-art factory at Wombwell has for many years pursued a big emphasis on raising money for local worthy causes.

The Darfield Club plays in an ex-mining village. It has more than 200 youngsters in teams from Under 6 years of age to Under 16 in the Sheffield and District Junior League and has FA Standard Charter status, priding itself on giving youngsters of all ages the opportunity to play and develop their skills.

Safestyle Group Director, Nick Lilburn, commented: ‘As a major South Yorkshire employer we have always encouraged our staff to nominate worthy causes covering a variety of people and organisations in the community to receive our sponsorship. On this occasion we wanted to help young people in sport and many of our employees have that at heart. We hope our support will reflect our community spirit and who knows may in its own right help uncover the next Wayne Rooney or John Terry.’
