Ecotilt
Introduced to Canada
There were smiles all round at the launch of Mighton's
Ecotilt at the WinDoor Expo in Toronto, Canada. The timber sash window
system was launched jointly by sash specialist Mighton and architectural
hardware company Ferco. David Warr, Vice President of USA Business Development
for Mighton comments: We're excited by the positive response from
Canadian manufacturers and look forward to building awareness of our highly
thermal efficient product. We've had several requests for pre-production
samples already and have ambitious growth targets for 2008.

of Canada.
Yvon
Soucy, Vice President of Ferco, is also positive: It's an exciting
time as we help Mighton's product development across the Canadian market
and the company continues to grow nationwide.
Ecotilt is one of the most energy efficient and secure timber vertical
sliders available in the UK and Canadian markets. With a timber exterior
and a PVC-U jamb liner, Ecotilt comes in an easy-to-assemble system form.
It doesn't need any specialist skills to put it together - just a few
'clicks.'
Making traditional timber vertical sliders can be a nightmare,
Mike Derham, Managing Director of Mighton, explains. They're fiddly
and hard to get right, with a different specification for each one. Because
Ecotilt is so easy to put together - with minimal routing and joinery
- it cuts down the long lead and installation times that eat into profit
margins.
