Russian
Revolution For Hurst
Hurst Plastics has
returned from one of its most successful overseas shows ever. The MosBuild
building and interiors exhibition, which is the largest trade event in
Russia, was held in Moscow in early April.
Exhibiting
at MosBuild, was a strategic move for Hurst, to maximise awareness for
the companys range of door panels and composite doors in the Russian
Federation. Russia is a growing market for Hurst's expanding product range,
driven by a surge in property regeneration and improvements in the economy.
Hurst delivers decorative door panels to over 20 countries around the
globe, including destinations as far flung as Australia, the Middle East,
and the Bahamas.
The company has a dedicated export team, headed up by Rebecca Atkinson.
Rebecca, who recently joined Hurst as Export Manager, has nearly 20 years'
experience in international sales and marketing management. A fluent French
and German speaker, she is now learning Russian to help her further develop
opportunities in the country.
Rebecca comments: I'm delighted to have joined the team at such
an exciting time. We have identified a number of emerging markets like
Russia, which are relatively untapped yet have enormous potential for
the business. The Mosbuild show was an excellent launch pad for us into
Russia and we had many visitors to our stand who were very interested
in the design and quality of our products.
Hurst Plastics is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of high quality
PVC-U door infill panels and polymer doors. Based in Kingston-Upon-Hull,
the company also supplies a wide choice of unique glazing options and
a selection of GRP products, including overdoor canopies, bow canopies
and conservatory roofs.
