Eurocell Quality Built In

Everglade Windows, based in Neath South Wales recently supplied and fitted Eurocell mock sash horn windows on a prestigious development at Parc Penscynor, also in Neath.

The award winning client, Baytree Developments, specialises in creating prestigious gated estates of the highest quality and this is reflected in the building components used in their construction. The company has won numerous awards including the national Zurich Customer First Award 2006 and 2007 along with the LABC Built In Quality Awards and Swansea City Council Design Awards.

Everglade windows chose Eurocell Profiles for the development at Parc Penscynor and Gareth Thomas, Director at Everglade, explains: 'When Baytree approached us the company was looking for premium quality windows that would reflect the high standard of the rest of the house. The Eurocell system, fabricated and installed by Everglade Windows was our first choice because of the combinations of quality and service.'

Mr Jonathan Quant Director of Baytree Developments chose the elegant and practical Eurologik mock sash horn style of window with Georgian bars. The Eurologik system is designed around a 70mm front to back dimension which makes it ideally suited for both refurbishments and new builds. The mock sash horn windows are also fully welded and have internal beading as standard to make it one of the most secure windows in the market. Eurologik is available in white, cream, rosewood, golden oak and grey along with a range special colours. White was chosen for this particular development because it complemented the buff-coloured external wall finish.

Everglade also supplied and installed a beautiful conservatory to the rear of the property using the Eurocell system which created a stunning addition to the garden area. The use of a complementary-style of mock sash horn windows and gable fan light created an attractive coordinated look to the whole property.

The windows throughout were fabricated using Pilkington Activ Self Clean glass which are also argon-filled to achieve excellent thermal performance.

The Eurologik system is fully bevelled for a slim visual profile which gives the windows clean sight lines. The 3mm external wall used on the Eurologik profile is also one of the thickest in the industry and reflects the quality of components used throughout the Baytree Developments. Eurologik can take glazing from 28mm to 38mm and many fabricators have already been able to gain an ‘A’ energy rating using the system.

As Gareth Thomas from Everglade says: 'You can’t fail to be impressed by these homes and the attention to detail and specification is the best I have ever seen. As soon as we presented the Eurologik system to Baytree Developments the company knew that is was right for its developments.

Since its launch three years ago, the Eurologik systems has quickly established itself as one of the most popular systems in the market and now accounts for over a quarter of Eurocell sales. The conservatory system with its many unique features also continues to lead the market.
