Head Start for Early Entries to GlazeKart 2008

GlazeKart
, the endurance outdoor karting race for the glass and fenestration industry, has announced the date for the 2008 event, Friday, 6th June. This annual event that has grown in popularity over the last two years is for teams of up to 4 drivers and takes place at the 1.36Km Daytona Circuit at Milton Keynes.

The organiser, Walnut Motorsport, is offering a special deal for entries received and paid for before 31st December, 2007. The team entry fee will be just £499 + VAT for entries paid for by the end of this year. From 1st January the entry fee is £549 + VAT. The entry fee includes all karting, food and drink for the team drivers, trophies for the winners and event management.

In 2007 it was the 'Three Amigos' who crossed the line first, a composite team from Mila, LSH and BM Trada. They finished just a few seconds (after three hours of racing!) ahead of Whiteline Goldline with Wegoma in third.

With teams from Synseal, Profile 22, Sapa Building Systems, Business Micros, Winkhaus and others having their own battles throughout the field, it was a very hard and competitive race!

Entry forms for the 2008 event are now available from Nick Moss at Walnut Motorsport on 01386 710106. There are also some limited opportunities for event sponsorship - ask Nick for details.
