Ebor Sales Growth Continues

It's just two years since Ebor Equipment Ltd remodelled its warehouse to make room for new glass industry related products, consumables and accessories.

This involved the introduction of a vertical storage system to handle the company's vast range of accessories, parts and consumables for the glass industry, plus the purchase of specialist handling equipment. The company goes to great extremes to ensure that all glass industry supplies are stored and handled in the best possible dry, clean environment. However, Ebor's business continues to develop at a rapid rate and goods are not spending very long in this fine environment. No sooner has the stock arrived, the high demand for Ebor products has meant that it is going straight out again.

But Ebor customers needn't worry about any shortages. In order to keep up with demand stock levels are being increased along with a greater range of products and accessories, to meet the varying tastes and needs of customers across the UK. This increase in demand and the ensuing need for higher stock levels has meant that Ebor has had to substantially increase its warehousing capacity by taking on an additional 10,000 sq ft in a new warehouse adjacent to its Rochdale headquarters. This additional facility, complete with overhead crane, will give Ebor the extra capacity needed to meet the demand of all customers and continue growing the company’s reputation for its first class service to the glass industry.

‘As Ebor has developed many markets for its glass industry products over the past 25 years, and the demand continues to be overwhelming.’ said Ebor managing director, Stephen Boocock ‘We need to be able to meet this demand to keep it growing and satisfy both our customers and theirs. So, our solution has been to increase our storage facility and carry a greater range of consumables and accessories ready for immediate call off.’
