Eurocell Opens New Format Depot in Ipswich

Eurocell Building Plastics (EBP) has opened a new format depot in Ipswich. Based on an even more customer friendly walk-in trade counter concept, it will appeal to both installers and DIY’ers. The latest opening takes the number of Eurocell depots to 88 nationally.

Serving an area from Stowmarket in the north to Felixstowe in the South the new Ipswich depot will be offering the full Eurocell product range, which extends to over 3,800+ lines, the majority of which are held in stock. Particular attention was paid to the trade counter area in this depot, which was used to create the walk-in concept. The area now allows customers to walk amongst the displays so they can really get up close to the products.

Warren Haworth, EBP Southern Divisional Manager, explains: 'Our new concept really makes finding the right product much quicker and easier, which is vitally important for our customers as they often have to work to tight deadlines on site. Many of our customers have already commented on how much better it is to be able to ‘get up close’ with the products.' The walk-in area at Ipswich displays a full range of products including tools, sealants and fixings as well as showroom samples such as the IQ750 modular conservatory roof, Marshall-Tufflex guttering and underfloor heating.

Like all depots, Ipswich stocks a huge range of products in the adjoining warehouse, to provide a one-stop-shop for all customers’ building plastics needs. This means customers can view the product in the walk-in area and then be confident that it is held in stock for them to take away. The Ipswich depot will be stocking the full range of products including roofline, window finishing trims and conservatory roofs, along with garage and entrance doors, tools, fascias, soffits and accessories.

Warren Haworth, comments: 'Previously the nearest Eurocell depot was in Colchester, which meant customers in Ipswich had to travel half an hour in each direction for their supplies. Opening the new depot now means we offer much better availability to customers in the town as well as offering even better service to the surrounding area through our next day delivery service.'
