'Break-in Thwarted by a Scorpion

When thieves tried to break into a conservatory display centre in Bolton, little did they know that getting into the showroom was going to be a sting too far!

All the locks at Croston's display centre are fitted with a Winkhaus Scorpion locking system.

The six levered shoot bolt system is designed to keep even the most persistent of intruders from getting into the premises.

Croston's Managing Director Stephen Butler said:

'When our Centre Manager opened up on the Monday she phoned me to let me know of the attempted break in, the thieves were unable to get through the French Doors because of the Winkhaus Scorpion locking system.

It is always reassuring to see that the systems we recommend do exactly what we expect'.

Croston fit the Winkhaus system as standard in all installations.
