Windows Chooses Trojan
Hull-based
fabricator, Vulcan Windows, has recently started using Trojan's Stallion
2 Shootbolt and says that it couldn't be happier with its choice of hardware
supplier.
That's because the shootbolt really does do everything the company was
promised it would. The company has increased its production output due
to the shoootbolt's easy to fit nature which has resulted in improved
manufacturing efficiencies for Vulcan Windows.
The Stallion 2 shootbolt offers a clip-in action to the Eurogroove and
an automatic self-setting action sets the shootbolt at the required length.
Furthermore, rising locking cams maximise engagement while maximising
frame clearance, so installation is also improved.
Paul Walker, Production Manager at Vulcan Windows said, Like many
fabricators, improving manufacturing efficiencies is a priority. To do
this you need help from the best products, of which the Stallion 2 is
definitely one. It is so simple to use due to its intelligently designed
telescopic function and we noticed an increase in speed of production
straight away. We were also very impressed by the quality of the product.
It offers secured by design status which is important to us. To sum up,
the product is of the highest quality and coupled with the support and
service we receive from Trojan, we are delighted with our choice.
The Stallion 2 shootbolt has a largely stainless steel construction to
meet increasingly stringent requirements and minimise corrosion. It has
achieved 1000 hours Salt Spray resistance under BS EN 1679:1998 test conditions
and has the prestigious BBA (British Board of Agrément) accreditation.
The Stallion 2 shootbolt has also been awarded Secured by Design accreditation
as mentioned. The shootbolt also offers flexibility: it's available in
a range of sizes to suit sash rebates from 300mm to 1750mm.
Vulcan Windows offers a range of PVC-U and Aluminium window and door products
to domestic, trade and commercial markets. For more information visit
