Where
there's a Will there's Wiltshire Glass
All companies yearn for loyal customers, and loyalty
is something that has to be earned. MACO says that it is delighted to
have Wiltshire Glass and Windows as one of the companys loyal customer
base and acknowledge its major investment recently made in increasing
production capacity - founded on the use of MACO fittings.
Wiltshire
Glass and Windows began in 1986 as an installation company and then began
to manufacture, with fabricating beginning in 1988. Starting with a 3500sq
ft unit, the company moved to larger premises in 2004 giving it 12,000
sq ft with a staff of some 34 employees. The company serves an area from
Bristol to the M25, from Portsmouth on the south coast to central England.
In order to develop the business and keep ahead of demand, Dave Harold,
owner of Wiltshire Glass invested in the first ROTOX cutting and machining
centre to be installed in the UK. This has enabled production volumes
to be greatly increased.
Dave explains that Turnover has increased by 35%each year for the
last two years, and we decided to focus all production around the MACO
range of products, including Shootbolt Espagnolettes, Doorlocks and the
Tilt Turn and Slide range of fittings. Consequently the large investment
in the ROTOX machine is set exclusively to MACO products, where we have
developed an excellent partnership. We are loyal MACO users, love the
quality and ease of use, and the fact that they have minimal failures.
MACO provides a comprehensive backup service to its customers with free
in-house testing facilities to industry standards. Building customer loyalty
through service and product viability is a major focus of the company.
