Dekura Makes Site Waste Management Simple

The UK's leading PVC-U recycler Dekura has launched a new service designed to support fabricators and installers address the new Site Waste Management legislation which came into force on April 6th.

Site Waste Management Plans (SWMPs) which are now mandatory for all construction projects worth over £300,000, aim to reduce the amount of waste produced on construction sites as well as raise the profile of efficient waste planning.

With the new legislation, waste management practices are becoming increasingly fundamental, particularly within the construction industry, which is responsible for a large proportion of landfill waste.
