Keyframe
Bucks Trend With £400k Investment
REHAU
trade fabricator Keyframe has invested almost £400,000 in a new
machining centre and associated software.
The move is intended to increase capacity at the Bolton-based company
from 1,000 to 1,500 frames per week.
Andy Bell, Sales and Marketing Manager at the company, said: 'Keyframe
is winning both new trade and commercial business and successfully bucking
the downward trend in the market at the moment.
'With this investment, we are looking to capitalise on our current market
strength by increasing our production volume and improving both our speed
and efficiency.'
Keyframe has purchased a BJM machining centre from Promac which, as well
as increasing capacity, will automate much more of its production and
deliver consistent, guaranteed product quality. Alongside this, it has
commissioned the market leading Evolution software from Business Micros
to operate the machine.
Andy Bell adds: 'We are very confident that together the cutting centre
and new software will make a significant impact on our overall efficiency
and will enable us to expand successfully whilst maintaining the high
standards we have set for product and service quality.'
Keyframe supplies trade customers across the UK in the REHAU S706 70mm
system and its renowned for its efficient service and fast delivery.
