West Yorkshire Windows' enthusiasm for the company’s Adminbase management system is so strong that the company has embarked upon a mission that has so far seen four of its own trade customers converted to use the admin, sales and marketing programme supplied by expert Ab Initio Software.

West Yorkshire Windows, which has specialised in the manufacture and installation of PVCu windows and doors since 1994, chose the system to establish an effective administration procedure throughout the company. Unlike many window companies that buy in frames from large trade suppliers, the company has sole control of its production process, which means that logistically, every aspect of the administration has to run smoothly so that orders are processed accurately with no margin for error. Keeping track of orders and installations is vital and with a multitude of different functions, the Adminbase management system takes away the stress of handling, processing and storing leads and enquiries, eliminates the headache of endless paper trails, and streamlines business, leaving the way clear for the production and processing of the components.

As Andrew explains, Adminbase simply takes away the hard graft. ‘Every one of the 26 people employed here has access to the system and uses it on a daily basis,’ he explains. ‘We can monitor and process all data quickly and accurately, as well as book everything in correctly to ensure that all installations are diarised and that everyone knows what they are doing, where and when. We also use Adminbase to check marketing results.
