Minister Enthusiastic about GGF involvement in TrustMark’s new Consumer Forum

Last week Gareth Thomas MP, the BERR Minister ( Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform) launched the new TrustMark Consumer Forum

He highlighted that the work of TrustMark and industry involvement through organisations such as the GGF was crucial to ensure that homeowners did not fall prey to rogue traders.

Ian Chisholm, Deputy Chief Executive of the GGF and Chairman of the TrustMark Industry Forum which has been driving the progress of this initiative steadily for the past year said:

“ This latest development shows the importance that consumer organisation now place on working with reputable organisations within industry. The GGF has played a very active role and contributed to the development of TrustMark since its inception, and I am delighted that the Minister recognises the work that reputable organisations such as the GGF have made to combat the rogue trader.”.
