According to Sunderland based Synseal customer TWR Trade Frames, energy rated windows are the next big market. ‘With global warming hitting the headlines every day, and energy costs soaring consumers are more conscious about reducing their impact on the environment,’ says Paul Morrison, TWR's Quality Control Manager.

‘Buying higher rated windows is an easy way to make a difference by reducing carbon emissions from the home. It not only reduces energy bills, it helps the environment too. That's why we now have an A rated Shield window as well as B and C rated SynerJy windows to offer customers.

‘We think that within a short space of time C rated windows will be the minimum required rating for consumers. In the same way when you're buying a fridge or washing machine, you look for the energy ratings sticker paying a little extra on the purchase for long term savings on energy bills and helping save the environment.'

Paul adds: ‘Apart from energy ratings our products are also Secured by Design. We were the first company approved by BBA on SynerJy. And now we're in the top 50 companies to achieve a BFRC approved A rated window. Difference is something we are very proud of at TWR.’
