Saints Bring Giants Down To Size For A Dozen Straight Victories

St Helens’ devastating form continued as Huddersfield Giants became the latest opponent to fall victim, this time to a 46 - 16 annihilation at Knowsley Road on Sunday. What was also remarkable was that no less than six of the seven Saints players who turned out against Huddersfield had been in Toulouse on Friday for England’s 56-8 winning romp against France, with fatigue only becoming evident in the last 20 minutes by which time the result was beyond question.
