AWJ Glass Steps up a Gear with Super Spacer TriSeal

AWJ Glass Ltd has invested in a fully automated Lisec Super Spacer TriSeal Application Line to up its production of energy efficient glass units.

‘We pride ourselves on putting quality before quantity to constantly exceed the requirements of our customers,’ explains Ivan Copley, Sales Director of AWJ.

‘That is why we have decided to invest in a fully automated line and start manufacturing sealed units with Super Spacer TriSeal. The awareness of Window Energy Ratings in the market place is spreading fast, so to keep ahead of the increasing demand we've seen, we are investing now. Our customers will enjoy the benefits of our highly energy efficient units and we will benefit from improved productivity giving us the capacity to grow sales in a competitive market. Installing a fully automated line does take a level of investment, so it was important to us to ensure we would get productivity benefits as a result of that investment. We are already manufacturing 3,500 units a week but this time next year we plan to be making 7,500 and in 2-3 years time we are aiming for 10,500 units per week.

‘Super Spacer TriSeal has substantial energy saving benefits for commercial projects, enabling AWJ to supply energy efficient glazing solutions for a wide range of applications including curtain walling, screens and facades.
