High
5 for Celsius The Celsius and Celsius Plus products have played a major part for the significant increase in the use of high performance glass as a roof glazing material. Glass accounted for just 11% of the roof glazing market in 1998 and yet ten years on the figure is closer to 40%. During these five years, the company has invested in new products and in the operational side of the business. Products such as Celsius Clear which is predominantly for conservatory side frames are relatively new and can form part of a complete solar controlled solution - the Celsius conservatory. Service has been the key word at K2 Glass for the last five years and 7 day lead times; on site delivery; marketing support; showroom contribution; demonstration heat lamps and the necessary product warranties have all been part of the offering. The company has also been quick to adopt the latest European standards and now carries the latest kitemarks and including BS EN 12150 - 1:2000 for toughened glass units, making the company one of the first glass processors in the North West to achieve this important standard. Sharon Owen, sales manager at K2 Glass comments: 'We've had 5 great years with the Celsius product with over 12,000 delighted customers across the UK. We continue to raise the standards in terms of product performance, quality and service and that will contribute to further success over the next 5 years.' 'Each unit bears the Celsius brand name, so if it isn't stamped on the unit it will not be the genuine article, so beware of inferior imitations!' she concludes. Tel: 01204 554 554 |
