Adminbase Aids Europlas Expansion

Ab Initio Software's Adminbase system is helping window, door and home improvement specialist Europlas in its expansion programme throughout the South West of England, according to the company's general manager Jim Short. Europlas has been using the Adminbase management system since 2004 and in three years, has benefited hugely from its installation.

‘Adminbase has helped greatly in so many different areas of our business,’ says Jim. ‘What the system means is that we have all of our records centralised and consolidated in one place, allowing us to view all lead and contact details immediately. We have complete control over the order book and therefore can forecast fittings very accurately. We can also integrate easily and effortlessly with the financial department, facilitating the entire processing procedure.’

In the last three years, Adminbase has also been instrumental in significantly reducing overheads. ‘Plus, on the marketing side, we have found it invaluable as it provides us with a single source database, affording us a much more effective and targeted marketing strategy,’ says Jim.

‘Another bonus of the system being an integrated package is that we have been able to roll it out to remote locations, which, for our salespeople means that they have clear visibility of the contract life at all times, with managers being able to access up to date and accurate operational data at the click of a mouse.’

As Europlas expands through the South West region, the value of the Adminbase system is becoming more apparent, as it is simple and straightforward to bolt on new products and services to the existing package. ‘The Adminbase system has supported our drive to become more streamlined and much more efficient,’ concludes Jim. ‘As the first and original PVCu fenestration company, founded in 1976, we are one of the most prolific manufacturers in the area, with a huge database of loyal customers.
