Avoid the Impact of Steel Price Increases with Liniar

With steel prices rocketing around the world and quickly being transferred into product component costs, window fabricators can minimise the effects by choosing Liniar profiles.

The recently launched Liniar window system was designed to vastly reduce or eliminate steel reinforcement and typically contains less than half the steel of other leading brands. Reduced use of steel was conceived as one of a range of fabricator friendly features of the Liniar range. The additional cost benefit further enhances the value of the product line.

Design Manager, Adrian Redshaw, explains further:

'When we began to design the Liniar window profiles we were determined to produce a system that would make the life of the fabricator easier and more efficient. Our experience in the industry told us that one thing that fabricators loathe is cutting steel. So by designing inner strength to the PVCu construction we were able to eliminate steel from many profiles and vastly reduce it on the balance. Not only does this reduce the overall cost of components but it also cuts the fabricator labour time on cutting and assembly.'

Redshaw added: 'Cost is not the only benefit from reducing the use of steel. One of the other advantages that we were able to derive from designing our systems from scratch was to achieve some of the highest thermal performance ratings available. Indeed our systems can achieve a class leading BFRC Window Energy Rating of +6. Far above the A Rated threshold.'

Reduced steel is just one of the benefits of the new Liniar system, each of which back up the company’s claim to offer the most fabricator friendly window system available in the UK. Find out more at http://www.liniarwindows.co.uk.
