Hallmark Fantasy Racing

Congratulations to David Deacon of Cavalok Construction Ltd, winner of the Hallmark Fantasy Horse Racing competition for the National Hunt season 2007/2008.

It was an exciting and eventful six months, which saw the lead change hands several times but, going into the home stretch David managed to hold his nerve and his lead which, as our winner, sees him and a friend travelling to Paris for the festival of racing in October, the highlight of which is the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the greatest race run in Europe. In addition David and nine of his guests can enjoy a table at the Glass Times Race Day being held at Haydock Park on 3rd July. Enjoy!

I’ll make sure that David and his companion come away from Paris with far more Euros than he arrives with!

It has certainly been a lucky game for David, as he was also the Hallmark Panels Ltd monthly prize winner for December and we managed to select Breedsbreeze, the nose of which he placed his £100 on. The horse duly bolted up and tripled the winnings to £300, which David very kindly donated to the Lupus organisation.

The season saw the emergence of new stars, the names of which will be included in the game which will commence in November. Master Minded is most certainly a name to take note of and I’d be very confident of his notching up plenty of points through the winter.

Denman now wears the crown of Champion after he produced an enormous performance to defeat his stable companion, Kauto Star, in the Gold Cup and he too looks unbeatable…that’s two from the same stable to look out for.

But what of the summer? Well, if you would like to play the game commencing 17th May, then please be sure to visit http://www.fantasyhorseracing.net to register your interest. It promises to be even more exciting than the game just finished and we’ll have a juicy cash prize lined up for our winner.

We will be introducing an exciting new element into the game. The scoring system has been upgraded and we will be awarding points based on the prize money awarded to the winners of each race, which will offer up plenty of opportunities to increase your scores, other than by way of bonus point races.

If you are looking for ten horses to follow throughout the summer then I suggest you keep a look out for these:

BANKABLE….he hails from the stable of Luca Cumani and will be worth following blind this term.
CONFRONT….the Sir Michael Stoute trained colt looks set for a superb season and will be at the forefront of those looking to punt the winners of both the 2000Gns and The Derby.
FLORISTRY….another from the Stoute stable and a name to bear in mind come the Coronation Stakes and the Nassau.
KANDAHAR RUN….Henry Cecil has had a bit of a renaissance period and this horse looks to be the stable flag bearer this term.
KINGDOM OF NAPLES….from the all conquering Aiden O’Brien yard, he’ll win races this season, for sure and a starting point looks to be the Ballysax at Leopardstown this month.
LUCARNO….follow this horse throughout the season and you should enjoy some pay days.
MYBOYCHARLIE….Irish trained sprinter that looks nailed on to produce the goods this term. Fill your boots!
NATAGORA….trained in France by Pascal Bary she looks certain to be a leading light this term.
ROBBY BOBBY….a Mark Johnston trained horse that has all the hallmarks of a big improver this term. Each season Mark produces one or two that run up sequences….this looks another.
TARTAN BEARER….we’ll finish with yet another Sir Michael Stoute trained horse and this half brother to GOLAN looks a banker to improve from two to three.

I hope they give you a lot of fun and produce some points and profits for you over the next six months.

Thanks for playing Hallmark Fantasy Horse Racing!
