Eurocell Depot says Rhubarb to Poor Customer Service
Eurocell Building Plastics (EBP) Northern region
has opened its latest new depot in Wakefield to improve service even further
for customers in this part of West Yorkshire. The opening now means the
company has a total of four depots in the county, each strategically located
to give customers easy and quick access to the entire product range.
Wakefield
depot is an ideal location being close to the M1 and M62, which means
it provides speedy access to customers across most areas of West Yorkshire.
All Eurocells new depot openings are eagerly anticipated by DIYers
and trade customers alike who appreciate the wide range of products, excellent
service and market leading prices.
Wakefield is a town renowned throughout the world as the centre of the
Rhubarb Triangle, an area famous for growing succulent pink rhubarb. The
statue in the city celebrating this fact is located close to the new depot,
which is on Commercial Street. Opening the depot has therefore given Eurocell
the chance to say rhubarb to poor customer service in Wakefield by offering
extensive stock levels, convenient opening hours and a professional, friendly
service.
The new depot will be stocking the entire range of 3,800+ EBP products
and being close to the centre of town makes it a perfect location for
both trade and DIY customers.
Paul Dixson, EBP Northern Regional Manager, explains: 'We already have
depots in Bradford, Keighley and Leeds but wanted to be able to service
the Wakefield area even better. Opening the new depot means customers
in this region now have much easier access to our entire range of products.'
The depot will be stocking the full range of Eurocell products including
PVC-u roofline, guttering, fascias and soffits along with a range of conservatory
roofs, doors, hand tools and garage doors, in fact everything the trade
or DIY customer will ever need.
The Wakefield depot officially started trading at the beginning of April
and is already attracting customers from as far afield as Croften on the
East and Ossett on the West side of Wakefield. Customers are also beginning
to travel from further away because of its excellent location close to
the M1 and within minutes of the M62.
Paul Dixson continued: 'We now offer fantastic availability along the
M1 corridor from our new collection centre in north Leeds, through to
our Meadowhall depot in Sheffield. For customers that regularly use this
route, we are able to offer the same extensive product range in every
branch. Its a great benefit for customers when they can call in
at any of our depots and are guaranteed the same great service.'
Another key benefit to customers who use Eurocell depots is the fact that
the company has full control over the supply chain. This is because Eurocell
manufactures the majority of the products it sells, ensuring quicker turnaround
of orders, greater reliability of delivery and consistent quality assurance.
Because of Eurocells control over its supply chain costs are kept
down to offer exceptional value for money. The company recently carried
out a price check on sealants against a national DIY chain, with the EBP
310ml EBP Silversil white silicone sealant priced at £1.90 against
the DIY stores equivalent own brand at £3.98 (all prices
include vat and are the recommended retail price (RRP) as of 28th March
2008). The price comparison is proof that whether a trade or DIY customer,
EBP offers industry leading value for money.
