Builder Sets Up ‘Cowboy Customers’ Website

A builder has set up a website to name and shame ‘cowboy customers’ who won't cough up for expensive work.

Boss Nigel Gray made headlines last month when his men demolished a £15,000 conservatory and porch because client Anita Dovey would not pay her bill.

Now he and pal Kevin Wood have launched http://www.roguecustomers.co.uk to help other builders get their cash back.

Nigel, 44, of Lancing, West Sussex, said: ‘We've all heard of rogue builders, but there are even more rogue customers. It's a huge problem - if they don't pay, you can end up losing everything.’
