Altex UK Chooses Spectus Patio Door to Grow

Altex UK, based in Essex, recently decided to start fabricating the Spectus patio door system after buying in an alternative system for 20 years. Andrew Bawden, one of Altex UK's Directors, explains: ‘We chose Spectus after trialling some other systems because it was the most user friendly and easiest to manufacture, install and sell! From a market leading systems company we wouldn't expect any different.’

Established 21 years ago, the company fabricates and installs a wide variety of window, door and conservatory products in different materials. A rare success story in today's market, Altex sales have grown almost £100,000 year on year since 1987. ‘Our turnover is now in excess of £2million,’ continues Andrew. ‘Sales have increased because 80% of our work is from recommendations and referrals. As a well-established company our customers come back time and time again. We are seeing an increase in sales of patio and folding doors: with Spectus we can continue to grow.’
