Try Housing Division Agrees New Solus Supply Deal with Freefoam Plastics
The
Galliford Try Housing Division, a top ten house builder, has appointed
Freefoam Plastics as its solus supplier of PVC-U roof products. The agreement
covers the supply of white and coloured PVC-U roofline materials to all
new sites across eight regional house building subsidiaries.
This new solus agreement comes shortly after the exclusive agreement with
Crest Nicholson Residential and is further proof that Freefoam is becoming
a stronger player in the new housing and construction market. Dean Richards,
Freefoam New Build Manager, comments, Despite strong competition
from many of the industry's leading competitors, Freefoam was able to
structure an agreement for the benefit of both parties and we are looking
forward to working with Galliford Try.
The Galliford Try Housing Division is expecting to build in excess of
three thousand units during the next year. The eight regions Freefoam
will be supplying are; Linden Homes South East, Linden Homes Western,
Linden Homes Southern, Linden Homes Chiltern, Linden Homes Thames Valley,
Stamford Homes North, Stamford Homes Midlands and Midas Homes.
Kevin Moran, Procurement Manager for the Galliford Try Housing Division,
comments, Freefoam was able to offer us a combination of best value,
a secure national distribution network and management at a senior level
with considerable experience of the UK new build market for PVC-U roof
products. The feedback from the companys existing customers was
very positive indeed. There has been a considerable reduction in the number
of UK manufacturers of PVC-U roofline products over the recent years so
Freefoam's commitment to the UK market and UK manufacturing creates additional
competition of benefit to all.
