Kestrel Highly Commended for Customer Focussed Approach at CMAs

The no tin, no lead, next generation cellular building products supplier, Kestrel achieved Highly Commended status at the prestigious Construction Marketing Awards.

‘We are thrilled that in our first appearance on the shortlist of finalists at the CMAs we have achieved this recognition,’ says Tony Crutcher, Sales and Marketing Director of the Kestrel brand. ‘Obviously we would have liked first place in the category but we can't be too disappointed being pipped to the post by customer and the UK's biggest house builder, Taylor Woodrow, now Taylor Wimpey.’ The prestigious Construction Marketing Awards, now in their seventh year, are universally recognised as a unique and highly regarded measure of excellence in construction marketing and business development.

‘We accept the award on behalf of the entire team at Kestrel,’ continues Tony. ‘With their support, Paul Neilson, Managing Director, and myself, have worked hard over the last 18 months to engage with customers and re-establish market needs. We have worked closely with our customers to ensure as a manufacturer in a highly commoditised sector that appears driven by price, we can offer them and their customers, product and service that can help them stand out from the competition. And we will continue to work with our installers, house builders, architects, public sector specifiers, specialist plastic distributors, builders' merchants, and homeowner target audiences, to provide what the market wants and needs.’
