GAP's New Format Trade Counter Proves a Hit in Blackburn

GAP's new style of trade counter has proven to be a hit with its customers in Blackburn. The 1,500 sq ft trade counter forms part of the UK's leading home improvement stockists' flagship warehouse.

It allows customers to pick the items they need off the shelf rather than waiting to be served. As well as providing installers with its core range of PVC-U products, GAP now offers a wider selection of products. Electrical fittings, power tools, plastering equipment, internal cladding and work wear are all available so its customers can get all the products they need from one supplier in one visit.

Depot Manager Chris Berry comments: ‘We asked customers what they wanted from our new trade counter and we have designed it around some of their suggestions - more stock, more choice and better service. Having taken on board these comments, it's great to see our new trade counter being so successful. Our customers want to spend as little time as possible in our trade counter as they want to get back out on the job, therefore having more products on the shelf is proving a hit for them.’
