Nick Dutton Moves to Door-Stop

Nick Dutton has moved to head up the new composite door manufacturer Door-Stop International. After 18 years at Synseal, Nick is responsible for building the new company to be the UK's number one choice for composite doors.

‘Composite doors are the next big market,’ says Nick Dutton, of Door-Stop. ‘The initial sales exceeded all expectations. We could see the huge potential, so we created a new company to give dedicated focus on composite doors.

‘We've been amazed by the volume of double glazing companies just dropping PVC door panels in favour of our composite door.’

Nick believes the rapid exodus from panels to composites is the key to the massive growth. ‘The growth in composite door sales is coming from door panels. Until Door-Stop introduced the three day delivery of composite doors, dependable deliveries was a real problem.
