Three - The Magic Number for Superior Window Security

A new hardware system from Siegenia-Aubi will give fabricators, architects and specifiers a choice of three high-performance tilt and turn window security options. The new SES hardware system means an upgrade for Siegenia’s standard TBT window hardware as well as providing two additional hardware options that enable the creation of high security windows to meet BS7950 and proposed European regulation requirements.

TBT Level 1 – an upgraded version of the basic Siegenia TBT hardware system - provides everything customers have come to expect from this high performance window hardware, with the addition of a built in sash lifter. The position of the sash lifter makes it impossible for the window to drop when closed - a problem which can be encountered when using systems in which the sash lifter is positioned next to the window handle.

TBT Level 2 offers a complete security hardware package for BS7950 compliant windows, using SES strikers and the Siegenia SES mushroom cam with its exceptional load bearing capabilities. Created to the same dimensions as a standard cam, the adjustable mushroom cam will fit regular strikers. Replacing these with SES strikers upgrades the hardware to a BS7950 compliant system.

TBT Level 3 uses a sophisticated SES gearing and larger striker combination for added security windows that will meet Level 3 of the proposed EN1627 regulations.
