Building Products - UK has launched Pilkington Eclipse Advantage, the
pyrolytic environmental control glass, into the UK market.
Major
advances in glass technology, such as low-E and solar control glass,
have revolutionised the functionality of glass today.
However, there have still been limitations on available products offering
a combination of these properties together with a range of colours to
meet individual requirements. Pilkington Eclipse Advantage provides
the perfect solution as it combines low emissivity with solar control
in a variety of attractive colours.
Pilkington Eclipse Advantage provides high light-transmittance, together
with reduced solar glare and subtle reflectivity. Pilkington Eclipse
Advantage is a pyrolytic rather than a soft coating, which means there
are no significant changes to its properties when toughened or bent
as it has a durable hard coating which can be cut, toughened, bent or
fabricated into Insulating Glass Units using standard techniques.
This revolutionary new coated glass is toughenable with good colour
stability, energy efficiency and is available in Clear, Arctic Blue
and Blue-Green from stock. Bronze, EverGreen and Grey are also available
and all can be supplied in 4mm, 6mm and 8mm.
