New
Steel Window gives Renovators Fresh Design Choice
Architects
and specifiers working on renovation and refurbishment projects now
have a fresh choice of replacement steel window thanks to the launch
of the Janisol Renovation Window from Schüco Jansen.
The new window perfectly preserves the look of the classic hot rolled
steel windows of yesteryear but its performance is much improved and
with the option of concealed fitting components, its appearance is also
enhanced. Its thermally insulated construction incorporates a 24mm double-glazed
unit and delivers a typical U value for frame of 2.3 W/m2K.
The Janisol Renovation Window, part of the Janisol Primo window system,
offers narrow sight lines of 82.5mm and a very narrow thermally insulated
transom profile with a face width of just 15mm. It's L-shaped glazing
bead adds another dimension of authenticity and aluminium sash bar profiles
are available as add-ons for low-cost transom imitations.
This new window is competitively priced and is ideal for a wide
variety of commercial, industrial and domestic applications. says
the company.
