Firm Unveils Glazing Invention at London Landmark
English
Architectural Glazing has unveiled its SYSTEMSTAX invention, which the
company says is set to transform the marketplace for frameless glazing
solutions.
The SYSTEMSTAX design is an innovative concept which provides a frameless
solution where glazing panels are held in place by specially designed
and engineered clamps and literally 'stacked' one on top of another.

The new method replaces the traditional and expensive method of drilling
holes through the glass units and supporting them on a separate structure.
EAG chose the London landmark, Camden Lock Market, to be the first building
to put the SYSTEMSTAX into practise. EAG won the £1.7m contract
to provide total envelope facade treatment including glazing, curtain
walling, windows and brickwork for the building and was awarded the
deal by Stanley Sidings Ltd.

English Architectural Glazing designed the concept of SYSTEMSTAX at
its headquarters in Mildenhall, Suffolk, and had the clamps produced
at a specialist casting and engineering company in India.
Managing Director, Simon Gladwin, said: 'We are very excited by SYSTEMSTAX
and for such a well known venue as Camden Lock Market to be the first
ever building to use the product. SYSTEMSTAX works like no other glazing
system, it is an entirely new concept that will become an industry leader
and an essential piece of equipment for anyone in the glazing and curtain
walling business.'
